Jungle River Villa for 10 |Pool, ATV, Tubing| Ubud

Positive: L'endroit est original et dépaysant, on ne va pas le cacher — sur les photos ça donne vraiment envie. Le personnel est excellent : accueil très chaleureux, une dame adorable, et on sent que tout est mis en œuvre pour que le séjour se passe bien et que rien ne manque. Pour quelqu'un sans enfants et peu regardant sur les détails de propreté, ça peut être une belle expérience. Negative: On va être totalement transparents. Cet endroit n'est pas du tout adapté à une famille avec enfants. Dès l'arrivée : énormément de marches à descendre pour rejoindre le logement, avec les bagages — rien n'est indiqué sur l'annonce à ce sujet. Ensuite, au niveau de la piscine, aucune sécurité : pas de barrière, on peut littéralement tomber dans le vide juste derrière. Avec des enfants de 2 à 13 ans, c'est inimaginable. Côté propreté, ce n'est pas à la hauteur des standards européens — dans le détail, chambres et cabanons laissent à désirer. Et les moustiques : toute la famille s'est fait piquer de partout malgré toutes les protections possibles — on comprend que c'est la jungle, mais l'accumulation avec le reste a été trop. Résultat : nous avions réservé 4 nuits, nous sommes repartis au bout de 2 heures. Sur le papier ça semblait être une expérience incroyable, dans la pratique c'était ingérable avec des enfants.

Was really cool seeing the bats flying around at night. Negative: DO NOT BOOK – Disgusting, Unsafe, and Completely Misrepresented. This property is completely misrepresented online. The advertising photos must be from when it first opened, because the reality is a dilapidated, unmaintained property that has been left to rot. We booked all 5 villas for a family group and had to leave in the middle of the night because the conditions were completely unsanitary and unlivable. Villas: Rotten shacks with doors half hanging off, leaving rooms completely open to the elements. A broken floor tile was sticking up sharply, which almost sliced my foot open. Infestations: The beds and rooms were infested with large ants, bed bugs, and a praying mantis. The bedding itself was heavily stained and smelled intensely of sweat. Bathrooms: Filthy beyond use. We found a live slug under one of the toilet seats and piles of dirt swept into corners and left there. Common Areas: The communal kitchen was in an absolutely unusable, disgusting state. The outdoor furniture (egg chairs and bistro sets) were broken, mouldy, split open, and swallowed by overgrown jungle weeds. The Pool: Filled with rubbish that we had to physically skim out ourselves. Owner Accountability: We had to spend hours searching for alternative accommodation up until midnight just to safely sleep. When we confronted the owner about these terrible conditions, they completely brushed us off, lacked any empathy, and explicitly refused to provide any refund whatsoever. The only saving grace was the two on-site staff members who were very sweet. However, the owner is running a complete scam by charging premium rates for an unsafe, unkept property. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want your holiday entirely ruined.

Never stay in this property as we got refund but don’t got for this property Positive: Nothing Negative: Doors not locked properly. Too much steps to go to room which is not mentioned in details but property manager said it was.
